organization with the Massachusetts Democratic party, the Duxbury
DTC promotes the ideals of the Democratic party while fostering
greater civic participation in the community as a whole. Aiding

March 4, 2007 - Duxbury Democratic Committee Chairwoman Linda Garrity introduces Gov. Deval Patrick Campaign Manager, John Walsh, at an event in Duxbury.
February 2, 2007 - Republican State Senator Bob Hedlund proves he's out of touch with his constituents and it's ALL caught on tape. He event thinks that he can't get away with anything and still get re-elected.
February 1, 2007 - Duxbury citizens are strongly encouraged to consider the open positions on the Housing Authority and Voter registrar. You have until Feb. 5th to turn in nomination papers for the Housing Authority seat, so there is still plenty of time. Meetings are only 1 time per month and the work is very important. Please also consider being a voter registrar. A Democrat is needed for this slot so please think about this one as well. Time commitment, again, is not significant. January 3, 2007 - The Duxbury Democrats will hold their 2007 annual caucus on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 2pm in the Merry Room of the Duxbury Public Library. The caucus will elect 7 delegates to attend the Massachusetts Democratic Convention at UMass Amherst in May. [Read Press Release]
October 25, 2006 - The Duxbury Democrats officially endorse Deval Patrick for Governor. The committee sites his vision, integrity and experience as factors paramount in the endorsement. The committee also praised his stance on stem cell research and education. Don't forget to get out and VOTE for Deval and other Democratic candidates on Tuesday, November 7th!
